One Proud Family!

Last weeked I drove up to Bakersfield and met with family to celebrate my big brother's graduation. We went out to eat at a great Italian place, Frugatti's.

Yep, my big brother Chris is officially "bonifide".

He done gone and git his Bachelor of Science deeeegreee.

Way to go Chris!!!

And just to show you that Chris is not just a smarty pants, he has a sense of humor too!

Tiramisu happens to be one of my favorite dessert. It's hard to find it made well. This one was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. It is alternating layers of ladyfingers soaked with espresso and a little bit of rum and layers of sweetened mascarpone cheese. This is the first time I have seen it presented with such great innovation.
